About Us

Blacks, Whites and Blues Festival

The organization was reorganized during March 2017 as a nonprofit organization. We employ music to unite members of the community in the city of Springfield with small businesses in our home state of Illinois. Our mission is to strengthen the community’s physical health, social change, and economic growth and development through education, counseling, advocacy, and monetary support.

2018 Festival - Saturday, August 4th and Sunday, August 5th on 11th St at the corner of S. Grand

The annual festival will focus on providing the community with information on education, career opportunities, health and safety while showcasing local talents in entertainment.

Entry, bands, and youth activities are free.

Food and beverages will require ticket purchases.

Please bring lawn chairs!    

Proceeds

A portion of the proceeds from the festival will be distributed to disenfranchised youth, individuals in need, and supporting organizations that enhance the lives of members of the community.
